Ukrainian soldier killed in eastern clashes

MOSCOW/KYIV, March 6 (Reuters) – One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were wounded in clashes with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine on Saturday, the Ukrainian military said, accusing the rebels of violating a ceasefire agreement.

The incident took place near the village of Shumy in the Donetsk region, part of a wider conflict zone where the two sides have been locked in a stalemate since 2014.
