PUMA is showcasing up-and-coming Black designers for Black History Month.
PUMA’s ‘Designers of Change’ campaign is partnering with three emerging Black designers to create a limited-edition capsule collection that celebrates Black culture and heritage. The collection will be available for purchase in February 2023.
The three designers featured in the campaign are:
– Kimberly Goldson, founder of the streetwear brand Goldsign
– Brandon Blackwood, founder of the handbag and accessories brand Brandon Blackwood
– Edvin Thompson, founder of the menswear brand Theophilio
Each designer has created a unique piece for the capsule collection that reflects their personal style and celebrates Black culture. Goldson has designed a hoodie and sweatpants set featuring a vibrant print inspired by African textiles. Blackwood has created a handbag with a bold graphic print that pays homage to the Black Panther Party. Thompson has designed a tailored suit with a modern twist that celebrates the style and sophistication of Black men.
In addition to the capsule collection, PUMA is also supporting the three designers through mentorship and networking opportunities. The designers will have the chance to work with PUMA’s design team and learn from industry experts. They will also have the opportunity to showcase their work at PUMA events and in PUMA stores.
PUMA’s ‘Designers of Change’ campaign is a celebration of Black creativity and culture. The campaign is a platform for emerging Black designers to share their work with the world and inspire the next generation of Black creatives.
