Emily Ratajkowski is having the sheerest summer ever. The model has been wearing almost exclusively sheer garments all summer long, and this past weekend was no exception. On Friday, July 21, the was spotted on the streets of New York City in a sheer minidress on her way out to dinner.
Despite 90% humidity and a scorching temperature in the 90s, EmRata wore the long-sleeve number (though, presumably, she got great ventilation). The fitted mesh dress featured a crewneck and a slightly flared hem that added a feminine touch to the edgy garment. Underneath the dress, EmRata wore a black bra and black string bikini underwear. She amped up the look with a pair of black over-the-knee pointed-toe heeled boots (fall can’t come soon enough) and a silver chain mail handbag. She wore her recently refreshed copper hair down and straight with a thick set of bangs styled over her forehead—apparently unafraid of what the suffocating humid air would do to it all.
All summer long, Emily Ratajkowski has trotted the globe in sheer dresses, from NYC to a cemetery in the South of France to Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party in the Hamptons, where she wore a sheer white gown with ruffle trim and a big boob cutout styled over a white thong.

Given her recent black number in NYC, it’s clear that EmRata is ready for transitioning into fall dressing. The look is also a hint at what’s to come with her fall style: still sheer stuff, pretty much.
