When she stepped out on Wednesday evening, Maude Apatow had me doing a double take for two reasons: First of all, her Versace minidress is an incredible use of houndstooth. Second, how is it held together??
Apatow attended a For Your Consideration event for Euphoria on April 20 alongside her costars Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, Zendaya, Barbie Ferreira, and Sydney Sweeney. Among some of Hollywood’s most-fashionable, the actor held her own.
The 24-year-old chose her look from Versace’s fall 2022 collection and styled it with platform Mary Janes, sheer tights, and a choker necklace. From afar, the pink and green houndstooth-patterned dress almost looks like a two-piece set—but that’s simply an illusion created by the exposed boning sewn over a pale mesh matching the actor’s skin color.
With her colorful look, Apatow stood apart from her costars’ more muted tones. She added to the drama with a slicked-back low bun, her hair parted deeply to one side. For makeup, she kept it simple with light blush and a pink lip.
This isn’t Apatow’s first time reaching for Versace. Back in January she wore another Versace minidress with a scooped neckline, also paired with platforms and tights. I mean, if it ain’t broke….

With the Emmys coming up, it’s possible Maude Apatow could have yet another opportunity to hit the red carpet in Versace. Lexi Howard would be so proud.
