Lizzo continues to maintain her legend status, all while teasing her first new single in years.
In a video promoting her upcoming single “About Damn Time” posted on her Instagram grid on Sunday, April 10, Lizzo pulls up to an airport in the back of a black SUV. She then boards a plane while a clip from her new single plays. Lizzo is of course wearing the most Lizzo outfit: black leggings with a built-in thong and front cutouts. The back of the leggings reveal the entire butt and upper thighs, while the front cutouts reveal the inner and upper thighs.
“SONG OF THE SUMMER DROPPING 4/14! ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME- PRE SAVE LINK IN BIO,” Lizzo wrote in the post’s caption.

On Saturday, April 16, Lizzo will host for the first time. She will also be the musical guest. Lizzo previously teased “About Damn Time” during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden in March. “Three freakin’ years I’ve been working on this album, baby,” she said. “I feel amazing.” Later in March she teased the song again with a butt tattoo.
After only a few years in the spotlight, Lizzo has transformed fashion by wearing stylish, colorful looks to express herself. You instantly know what she’s feeling when you see a Lizzo look, from hot pink latex jumpsuits to T-shirts with her own face on them to black thong leggings.
The singer’s new shapewear collection, Yitty, launches tomorrow, April 12. It’s unclear if the getup from her Instagram video is part of the line, but Yitty’s official Instagram account commented on the video: “GOTTTT DAMN!!! I’M TRYNA SEE SOMETHIN’ ELSE DROPPIN TOO!!! 👀 THIS SET IS BOMB AF!!! 🥵” We have to concur.
