When the clock strikes midnight on October 1, spooky season takes over and it’s only natural to recalibrate your style accordingly. For inspiration, look no further than Hailey Bieber.
The model and Rhode Beauty founder took to Instagram on the first of the month to share a selfie, captioned “Oct 1,” of herself sporting a decidedly of-the-season beauty look, complete with a moody fall manicure.
Accentuating her fresh skin and brushed-up brows, Hailey washed her lids in smoky burgundy eyeshadow and punctuated her pout with a deep Bordeaux lipstick. But what pushed the look into the extra seasonal territory was the TikTok nail muse’s glossy, jet-black talons.
While helping to usher in the darker side of fall, Hailey Bieber’s long, oval-shaped onyx set added a Gothic edge to her color story. “Pitch black is so chic,” nail artist Miss Pop once told Vogue. And even better: “Black is arguably the only shade that looks cooler when it chips,” she adds.
