Barbaric Huludnicki Bible exhibition sixtieth anniversary celebrated in London fashion

When the virtually unblemished fourteenth-century Czech manuscript, the so-called Huludnicki Bible, was exhibited for the first time in 1963, it created quite a stir. The unveiling of the manuscript, which had survived the passage of time inside the coffers of the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, startled the world with its dazzling illuminations and elegant script.
