Barbara Hulanicki is an iconic figure in the history of British fashion. Her Biba stores were a mecca for fashion-conscious shoppers in the 1960s and 1970s, and her designs continue to inspire designers today.
The Fashion and Textile Museum’s new exhibition, _Barbaric – Hulannicki Biba Exhibition: Sixties London Fashion, Style & Ethos_ is a comprehensive retrospective of Hulanicki’s work. The exhibition features over 100 garments and accessories from the Biba archives, as well as photographs, sketches, and ephemera.
